A story of email & social that cuts through
Seela is an activewear brand that creates its clothes from castor bean fibre. With its vision for a world where women can move freely, knowing that they’re taking care of themselves without harming the planet or their health through synthetics, they had a compelling narrative and valuable product to share with the world. And now it was time to find and build its space on the internet, cut through the noise, and connect with its ideal audience.

Once upon a brand
I’d created the brand voice, and the new website. Now, it was time to create movement on social media and build the email journey that would set the store and this fitness community in motion.
We embarked on a journey
It was time to take people on a journey. From the first expression of interest to the final order, I mapped the email flow in such a way that the receiver would feel guided at every step, and hear the sound of the new Seela voice. I then crafted content that the community would genuinely get excited about reading, as a community of women invested in their fitness. Tailored content included female health experts and fitness role models, with articles on aligning your fitness routine to your hormonal cycle and interviews with athletes. Copy for social was structured around the pillars of the brand voice, which encouraged movement, community, and concious choices.
And in the end, we found ourselves somewhere better
